Which video files can I upload?
Current file types and size limits.
The current beta accepts MP4 and WebM video files with an audio track, up to four hours per interview. The file uploaded to storage must be 50 MB or less.
Takefold can make a smaller verified 480p review copy from some larger original MP4s. If conversion cannot preserve original timing or fit 50 MB, the interview is rejected before upload. Larger storage uploads are planned.
Good to know
If the file is too large, make a smaller copy for transcription. Keep your original recording for the final edit.
